I picked these up for him bc it seems tan Blakladers are Always on backorder.Here's the 2 most important factors with these HH to my carpenter guy.One, the reviews are right. Size up. He's a 36 & 38 was right fit.Two, there's no hammer loop. (Whaaat? Yup.)There are 2 Velcro "belt" loops you can add a hammer loop to but,it is no longer avail on HH site or Amazon at this posting.He had an old one from another brand he looped in but,do feel like it's a fail to not to be able to get it from HH.It's like if you buy a car with optional AC/Heat & the mft says,"Sorry we don't do that but maybe someone else does so, we're gonna leave a hole where it should go"On the plus side, these are a great lightweight pant.He travels throughout Florida & pants are mandatory.The weight on these is one of the best for comfort & breathability.The knee pads are inserted from inside the pant so, that's different.He does like the feel but doesn't know if it justifies the (bleeping) juggling act to insert them.Either you turn the pants inside out or scrunch them up to the knee.Also, there are a couple other loops he can't figure out.The one he thought could be a hammer loop is so low,you'd take out your shin everytime it swung around plus,who grabs a tool from their knee? Maybe good for a carpet installer?Was hoping these would be more of a win considering his previous satisfaction with HH.But, if Blakladers are out of your price point or on backorder,these aren't so bad in the limited arena of tool belt pants.
