Read Update at end of comments.I didn't see the track marks -- from the tightest packing ever which impressed me initially -- on the front of back cushion until chaise was assembled. Notified Kozyyard on 10/3 about condition. Was super friendly and even bought a new steamer but asked for guidance on using it for fear of melting fabric. Sent photos. No response for 3 full days. Wrote again much more assertively via website -- as you can't contact them via Amazon -- and got a very snarky response. After venting to me like I'm the bad person, Kozyyard promised immediate new cushion cover express. Fine. On 10/10 I wrote short note asking for shipping info from Thurs. 10/6. No response. They will take it back chaise, but as a third-party, I have to pay the freight, which is probably $40-50. I KNOW not to buy outside of Amazon, but I did it. As an Amazon vendor myself who walks on water for customers, I'm shocked that Kozygard is so unfriendly and unresponsive to me -- but I guess they don't need me. Maybe, you either. So just understand that if anything goes wrong, Kozygard is not on your team. And the cushions you are looking at are fine with them. I do not expect very visible bar tracks all over my cushion, from uber tight packing, but apparently my standards are way too high. Beware.Update: There has been action from Kozyard on this problem. The biggest lesson from this experience is how individuals can make a difference. And also how our expectations of each other -- functionally with this specific problem and also expectations about how we live can be bad business.A new cushion cover was sent on 10/6, after Kozygard rep basically accusing me of getting these very obvious shipping-related tracks into the cushion. I was not given any shipping info for tracking pkg myself -- just a statement that it would be done. Original chaise came Fed Ex. Cushion was sent USPS. UPS and Fed Ex and Amazon deliver to my home. USPS delivers to a pavilion -- one of those new community gathering places with mailboxes, school bus stops for the kids, and other community-related activities. I do not go to my mailbox every day, as it is a MAJOR hike between 1/3-1/2 of a mile one-way and not near the gym or river, where I do go for exercise. It's a fact that a replacement cushion was delivered to the mailbox but unknown to me on 10/8. I learned that info on 10/12.With a positive and detailed attitude and timely responses from the Kozyard cs person involved, none of this had to happen. It would never happen in my business and -- hopefully -- Kozyard will change their system to 1) prevent a time lapse of 3.5 days or longer -- to respond to a customer problem once images have been provided; 2) not suggest that it's the customer that she is off base and should understand your not getting back to her -- making HER the problem and then suggesting that she somehow got deep bar tracks on the product. As I told Kozygard in our Amazon communication, there is no Anne conspiracy against this cs woman -- who could be the owner for all I know. When you neglect a problem for 3.5 days, it's your system that is the problem, not the customer. AND, 3) when you DO ship the replacement cushion, provide the customer with the tracking info. Then she knows who the shipper is and can track the info in their system. Life just needn't be this complicated in our problem-ridden world. Bottom-line, the Amazon person via Kozygard messaging {which I found after a laborious hunt as that old contact vendor button is long-gone]. In over 20 years on Amazon, I never needed it, as I rarely deal outside the Amazon delivery system. Hell will freeze over before I do it again on anything important or of value to me.
